im changing my alloys on my car (corsa 08) to 17%26quot; Wolfrace Triad or 17%26quot; ACE - 205
i am buying from a local shop any was wondering would anyone give me some advice before i buy them
- would these alloys fit my car? my car hasnt been lowered and would they rub at full lock?
- they have been discounted because of a few scratches, anything i should be careful of?

You need to keep the rolling radius the same so size of wheel not as important as size of tyre to prevent rubbing on arches and to keep speedo accurate. Also, if you are putting wider tyres on you again need to decrease the profile. You also need to check the pcd of wheel studs against new wheels for fit and also the shape on hub to shape of rear of wheels. If in doubt do not buy and go to a specialist-the tyres are the only thing touching the road and if you get it wrong you won't stay on the road for long!Changing my alloy wheels, anyone know the answer to this?
The shop should be willing to try them on the car BEFORE you buy to make sure everything is ok.

if they are scratched forget them the number one cause of paint loss on alloys is scratches and abrasions, the shop know that!!!!!!!!!!!
