Can i change the steering ratio on my car?

i have a 96 civic and whenever i try doing stuff like a 180 (off the road of course) its really hard to balance turning the wheel far enough + shifting to the right gear + pulling the e brake.

i wanted to know if there is a way to change the gearing on the steering rack so that i dont have to turn as far.

i think most cars are 2.5 turns from lock to lock. can i get something closer to 1.5 turns? Can i change the steering ratio on my car?
As a matter of fact there is a very inexpensive way to double your present steering ratio. It'll take some work to do this as the small steering wheel %26quot;quickener%26quot; will need to be mounted very solidly between the firewall and tour steering wheel.

Howe Racing Enterprises, performancebodies.com, Behrents Performance Warehouse and speedwaymotors.com have these %26quot;fist%26quot; sized steering quickeners. Please bare in mind these small gearboxes will double the overall steering ratio you presently have. Can i change the steering ratio on my car?

changing camber on wheels to tilt top of tires outwards, give u natural drift without changing turn ratio.
