1 car key from used car dealer?

I bought a car from a used car dealer last night. After i did the paperwork they handed me just 1 key of the car. They said that they got only 1 key for this car from the auction they bought it from. I spoke to the sales guy and told him that either they track and find me the other key or they change the lock. He indicated that i could order a duplicate key and would have to pay for it from my pocket.

I still have 3 days to give them the check for the car.

What are my options right now?1 car key from used car dealer?
if you like the car, just have another key made. even if it's a computer key, it will cost under $1001 car key from used car dealer?
Get another key made the chances of some stealing it are slim,im a dealer and sometimes you only get one key as the owner before you lost them or forgot them at home when they bought a new car.1 car key from used car dealer?
Make a key for your new car. You signed a contract to purchase it, so its your car now. Many times we only get a single key from the auction or the customer who traded it it. Not uncommon at all.

You have 3 days to give them a check, but you did sign a purchase agreement and take the car right? Well, if you don't give the check, you will be in default of the contract you agreed to. Tow truck could start rolling, and you would be on your feet in no time.1 car key from used car dealer?
You bought a car with 1 key. Have another key made and get over it.1 car key from used car dealer?
My gosh, Are you serious ?

Hmmm. have a key made and pay for it.

Or never pay for the car and ruin your credit.

Duh.

Ive sold hundreds of cars over the years and 70% came with 1 key. Or 1 set of keys. Occasionally, I only got an ignition key.
