Is it possible to get power locks, mirrors and keyless entry for a car that came without them?

Im in the process of buying a 2005 honda civic dx that has manual locks and mirrors.I was wondering if i could get it changed to power locks and mirrors at a dealership or elsewhere and how much more it would cost meIs it possible to get power locks, mirrors and keyless entry for a car that came without them?
yes,

at the dealership it will cost more that the the original option cost on the car.

most aftermaket shops sell this kind of stuff, power locks can be integrated into an alarmIs it possible to get power locks, mirrors and keyless entry for a car that came without them?
You can get it done but it costs a lot. My friend had hers changed to power locks, front doors only, and had an alarm system installed and just that cost her $300.Is it possible to get power locks, mirrors and keyless entry for a car that came without them?
Yes but its a lot of work..

you will find that most of the wiring is there and that you just need to plug some things in. but you will be dropping some coin on this one! not to mention having to tear your doors apart is an experience in itself.. you;ll need special tools to get clips of without damaging them or the door panel.. stuff like that...Is it possible to get power locks, mirrors and keyless entry for a car that came without them?
yes, and $300 isn't a lot of money ,drop it off at the stereo shop pick it in a few hoursIs it possible to get power locks, mirrors and keyless entry for a car that came without them?
Yes it's possible but I won't recommend having it done at the dealer. It will cost you alot of money. Try having it installed at a local Mom's %26amp; Pap's store. Is it possible to get power locks, mirrors and keyless entry for a car that came without them?
It wouldnt be cheap I would just buy what your looking for cuz you wont like the price to change all of that over.Is it possible to get power locks, mirrors and keyless entry for a car that came without them?
You can buy kits for about anything. So I would say yes.Is it possible to get power locks, mirrors and keyless entry for a car that came without them?
Yes possible but expensive. Is it possible to get power locks, mirrors and keyless entry for a car that came without them?
If the same model of car was made with power locks and mirrors, it -might- be possible to get those parts off a junked car in a junkyard and put them on your car. It would be a lot of trouble! A mechanic would have to charge you for a lot of time, so it would be expensive unless you could do it yourself.

A dealer, forget it. They're going to have to order new parts and that, plus the time, might cost more than the car is worth! Is it possible to get power locks, mirrors and keyless entry for a car that came without them?
You could also trying buying the parts used from a wrecking yard. If these were options on that model of car you could get them fairly cheap. You might need to do some wiring though. Is it possible to get power locks, mirrors and keyless entry for a car that came without them?
You would be looking between $1500.00 to $3000.00 to add these items to this vehicle. Is it possible to get power locks, mirrors and keyless entry for a car that came without them?
Yea, it is possible. When manufacturing auto's, it is cheaper for the company to make the basic foundations all the same. This means that all the same holes for mounting the motors which move the locks and windows up and down should already be their. Later on down the assembly line, some models get the upgraded equipment and some don't. Either way, they don't have to use a dx frame for a dx model or an ex frame for and ex model car. All models use the same frame. You will most likely have to have the wiring run and the actuator motors installed. You can go with all factory parts, which will probably be very very expensive. It seems anything ordered OEM always is. My advice to you is to look for an aftermarket brand. Back when mini trucks were popular, adding power locks and windows was a popular modification and I remember seeing many kits advertised in the magazines. These would most likely be cheaper, while not being a direct bolt in affair. The route I would take, would be to scour ebay and auto wrecking yards and get all the parts you need. Then take them and have them installed at a garage, if you are not handy enough to perform the installation yourself. Had you ask this question two years ago, when I totaled my Civic EX, I would have sold you all the stuff dirt cheap. That would have been about the only thing left on my car that worked. heheh It was in bad shape. As it was, the junkyard got it all. My point is that these parts should not be hard to find in good working order, at a wrecking yard. If you do have garage install them, their fee will probably be a bit on the expensive side. Hopefully, you have a garage that doesn't charge outrageous hourly fee's. Do not take it to a Honda dealer to have the work done. They are the most expensive places around and will charge you an arm and a leg. Take it to a small town or at least a smaller reputable garage to have it done. It will be cheaper.

P.S. I just noticed that you said your car was a 2005. I didn't realize this till after I had written my answer. What I said, still applies, but you might have a bit harder time finding the parts. It is still do able though. Just price everything out first, and you will be good.Is it possible to get power locks, mirrors and keyless entry for a car that came without them?
Yep it is possible but it can be pricey!
