Can Car Locks be Tailored To An Existing Key?

Hi, i brought a clio 1.4 5DR RT MK1 and the key lock on the drivers side door has been changed (i have a separate key for the drivers side) because the ignition key doesn't work in the drivers side door but works in every other door (and indeed the boot) so can door locks be 'cut' to the ignition key? with out having to change every door lock and have a new set of keys. Can Car Locks be Tailored To An Existing Key?
I dont think so,and if they could,it would be costly, just put up with it,but get some extra keys cut as a back up.Can Car Locks be Tailored To An Existing Key?
Yes, but it would be prohibitevely expensive. Live with it.Can Car Locks be Tailored To An Existing Key?
Yes they can, in fact many of these cylider come %26quot;uncoded%26quot; and must be coded at the dealer or by a locksmith. You need to call a locksmith or take it to a RENAULT dealer. It will definitely not be free but nothing in life is!

I can't believe how stupid some people are with their answers.... you did not know so you did the intelligent thing in asking but the people who answer these questions and do not know what they are talking about should save themselves the embarrassment!
