I need to change my car's ignition and door locks. I know going to a lock smith is pricey so I was wondering if anyone knew how to change the ingition and door locks for a 1986 Pontiac Trans Am. It'll only cost me about $25-$30 for the ignition cylinder and door lock cylinders and well over $100 going through a locksmith... please help!86 Trans Am - how do you change locks/ignition?

have fun with that one, you're gonna have to tear the whole steering column down to change out ignition, for doors take off panels and remove door lock rods and keepers
