Call your insurance company. Sometimes they do. If you paid for this type of coverage, they will usually try to work with you. If not, you should switch to Geico. Will my insurance company pay for a rental car if my car is getting fixed?
Whether or not you get a rental car is typically an option on your insurance policy. If you were at fault for the accident, then check your policy or ask your agent or carrier.

If your car was damaged by another driver, then their insurance should pay for your rental car while your auto is being fixed. Typically, you would request this when filing your claim with them.

Where I live, you can add a %26quot;loss of use%26quot; endorsement to your auto policy. I was allowed to rent a vehicle for my personal use after a deer ran into my car. I did however have to pay the taxes involved. Will my insurance company pay for a rental car if my car is getting fixed?
If they were going to pay for a rental car they would have from the beginning. You need to see if you have that type of coverage on your policy. If you do, they probably wouldn't have said anything - insurance companies are shady that way.
