Car automatic locks not working.?

I have the little device I press to unlock the doors on my Chevy Blazer and all of a sudden it no longer works. I though maybe there was a small battery in it that needed to be changed but not so. If I press the red button on it (the alarm) the horn starts to beep. Also, when I get in the vehicle and put it into drive it used to automatically lock and it doesn't do that anymore either. Any suggestions?Car automatic locks not working.?
you prolly blew the fuse. it happens sometimes. take out your owner manual and find out which fuse you need to replace for the locks. if you don't have a manual then you need to get a fuse tester and check all the fuses. make sure you use the right size fuses too.

if you are talking about the key, then replace the battery.Car automatic locks not working.?
If you know where to check then the problem are fuses or the motor is going bad.Car automatic locks not working.?
I have a Chevy Blazer. I'm in the UK, and it is a UK spec vehicle. The fob does contain a battery, its a Panasonic CR2032 3V. My vehicle has never auto locked when put in drive. The handbook makes no reference to this function. Change the battery and you should be back to normal.Car automatic locks not working.?
Check fuses and then relay for power door locks. If they are ok, then check the boot in the door jam for a broken wire.Car automatic locks not working.?

I would suggest opening the key for and clean where the lock and unlock button makes contact if that doesn't work then you will need a new key fob and have to have it programmed. If you have a second fob bring it with you so they can program then both at the same time because once they enter the programming mode it will erase the old program.
