What would make the car make this sound?

My car randomly starting making this really loud mufler like sound.

The muffler is still attached, and there was no big noise or anything it just started happening.

It is a quite loud rumbling noise, sort of like the cars i hear that don't have mufflers. Also it is forceful enough to make my front seat vibrate. It gets much louder whenever i press the gas, however the car seems to be handling well...

No change in steering, power locks or windows and the radio ac/heater is still working. What would make the car make this sound?
i don't know the make model or year of the car... but it sound like the exhaust system came loose from the manifold either you can take to an muffler shop and have them repair it or you look underneath and find it and repair it yourself about a 5 on the difficult meter....What would make the car make this sound?
the manifold might not be attachedWhat would make the car make this sound?
Not sure what car you have but, on the side of the converter is a tube that runs back up to the engine. It is a stainless tube and when it gets old it will blow out just because of heet build up over the years. What would make the car make this sound?
A hole in your exhaust system.

Pipes

Catalytic Converter

Muffler

Hangers misaligning the pipes.

Take it to a muffler place that will give you a free estimate.

Then if it is something you can do toss him a couple of bucks as a tip and do it yourself.
