If you have a %26quot;chipped%26quot; key and didn't program it per the owners manuel, that is possibly the problem. Look into that first. When you say that the battery is completely dead, are you basing that off of the results of an actual battery test, or off the fact that the engine won't start?

if you can jump start it,take it to a auto zone or advance auto parts,and have them do a battery test and starting and charging test,its free to have them do that,both of them also charge batterys free if it just needs recharged,then we can go from there
